The soundtrack is crazy, the costumes are a bit over-the-top, the whole thing is a bit over-the-top, Leo Dicaprio is a weird choice, Michelle Williams is even weirder, but I actually sort of like Toby McGuire as Nick. 

Sigh, leave it to Hollywood to embarrass Fitzgerald. 

Also, I refuse to see this in 3D. That is all. 

Baz Lurman has filmed ‘The Great Gatsby’ should be a visual delight. Why not read the book before you see it?
